Lady Gaga faces a $1.5 million lawsuit by the woman who stole her dogs, according to recent reports. The singer’s French bulldogs, Koji and Gustav, were stolen in February 2021, and the dog walker, Ryan Fischer, was shot during the robbery. The dogs were later found unharmed and returned to Lady Gaga.
However, the woman who allegedly stole the dogs, Jennifer McBride, is now suing Lady Gaga . McBride claims that she found the dogs tied to a pole and unattended, and that she had no idea they belonged to Lady Gaga. She further alleges that Lady Gaga promised a $500,000 reward for the return of the dogs, but she has not received the money.
The lawsuit argues that McBride was frightened and became the subject of media attention and threats after returning the dogs. McBride is seeking $1.5 million from Lady Gaga for intentional infliction of emotional distress and negligence.
Lady Gaga has not responded publicly to the lawsuit.
